If AgVantis were not providing these value-added services - specifically of financial reporting services - AgVantis' customer-owners would have to outsource them or hire additional in-house personnel. Both options are costly.

Associations appreciate the benefit of AgVantis' value-added services: it makes sense that one highly trained, experienced team should perform these functions for all of AgVantis' customer-owners, as opposed to several different groups trying to do the same job.

• Accounting Standards and Assistance
  AgVantis researches and then interprets both new and revised accounting pronouncements to help the Association comply with current standards. AgVantis coordinates issues through the Association, PwC, and the Funding Corporation.
• Federal and State Tax Returns
  AgVantis will coordinate the preparation of federal and state tax returns. For taxable Associations, AgVantis monitors the tax accrual monthly to identify potential tax issues. AgVantis circulates final year-end accruals in combination with PwC and reviews them with Association staff.
• Annual Budget Packet
  A detailed budget packet with instructions from AgVantis supports the creation of the Association’s operating expense budget. AgVantis also provides the following: • Narrative details of each expense account • Budget data for certain expenses charged by AgVantis and / or US AgBank. • Lawson Instructions

  AgVantis supports Associations in their FCA reporting requirements as well as in annual, quarterly and month-end Association reporting.
